The website bytimo.com is provided by Ti-Mo AS. (Reffered as “byTiMo”, “we”, or “us”).

1.  Which data does byTiMo process?

byTiMo collects data from you when you visit our site (coockies) complete an order, or log into My Account (personal information, that you share with us).

byTiMo does not sell, rent or disclose our client’s names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information to any byTiMo entity.
We will only store your data to use your information to handle your order. (Name, Address, Phone number, and email).

Additionally we will use your email to send you updates on your orders (Confirmation mail, when your order is shipped, and also if you make return, you will get an email regarding your return).

We do, however, also receive information that you leave across our site and access data which is automatically collected when you interact with our website, which is used for analyzing and marketing (Coockies, see section 5.).

2. What does byTiMo use my data for?

byTiMo processes your data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws. Of course, we observe the principles of data protection law for the processing of personal data. We therefore generally only process your data for the purposes explained to you in this Privacy Policy. These are only used in processing your purchase. We also use your data within the framework of the strict Norwegian and European data protection law, but also for market research and personalised advertising (only cookies)

  • Adyen: All payments goes though our payment platform Adyen, read more about Adyens Privacy policy here.

  • Webshipper: Shipping solution who handles and books all shipments. Webshipper is our shipping handler, they are booking all of the orders with our carriers (DHL/Posten), they will get information about your order to complete the shipment. (Name, address, mail and phone number).

  • DHL: If you have booked with DHL as your preferred shipping, information will be sent to them when they are delivering your order. (Name, address, mail and phone number)

  • Posten/Bring: If you have booked with DHL as your preferred shipping, information will be sent to them when they are delivering your order. (Name, address, mail and phone number)

  • Front sytems: Wearhouse and stock manager and our POS-system (Point of Sales system.) This only collects the orders, to remove the product from the stock in the physical store (only name).

3. Newsletter

We also offer newsletter services which include:

  • Inspirational content such as updates on collections, offers, sales, and new arrivals.

  • Reminders when an item is back in stock (Only if you have signed up for the «back in stock list» on a product landing page)

If you signed up for newsletters, you will receive some of the newsletter services but some of these list are connected to your country and city – and will may vary based on your country/city. Of course you can always unsubscribe at any time for these mailings.

4. How does byTiMo protect my data?

We transmit your personal data securely using encryption. This applies to your order and your customer login. We do this using the coding system SSL (Secure Socket Layer). We also use technical and organisational measures to secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, change or dissemination by unauthorised persons.

5. Information about Cookies

Cookies are text files with a small amount of data that are added to your browser’s internal memory and let websites remember information about you such as login information or user preferences for a specific site, as well as providing statistics that we use to make our web pages better for our users. 7. Information about Social Media Pages

byTiMo maintains social media profiles on the social networks of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok. We regularly publish and share content, offers and product recommendations on our pages. The operators of the social networks record your usage behaviour via cookies and similar technologies upon every interaction on our social sites or other Facebook or Instagram website. Our page operators can view general statistics about the interests and demographic characteristics (e.g. age, gender, region) of page visitors. When you use social networks, the nature, scope and purposes of processing social network data are determined primarily by the social network operators.

These social platforms features may collect your IP address, the page you are visiting on our websites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. These features may be hosted by a third party, and your interaction with these features is governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policies of such third parties. 8. How can you delete cookies?

It is easy to delete cookies that you have previously accepted. It depends on which browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and device (smartphone, tablet, PC, Mac) you are using.
You can typically find this information under settings "Security and Privacy", but this may vary from one browser to another.
